Who am I?

I am an advanced endurance rider, having competed successfully with the Welsh Endurance Team over the last decade. I'm now taking a back seat from competition to crew daughter and horse, members of the GB young rider squad.

My interest in massage started after watching an excellant demonstration by local horse massager Gwenan Thomas. Having picked up a few basic tips and having used my limited skills with good effect on Welsh team horses I decided to become properly trained, certified and insured.

I did my first level course with Eqinology Inc, in the USA - a three week course that is then followed by an externship - a total of 250 hours. This is just a first step and I hope to add to my skills as time goes by. I am returning to the US in October 08 to complete a specific course in biomechanics and gait analysis.

I am a member of the International Equine Body Worker Association. To remain a member I have to complete 16 hours of continuing education a year. I am also insured.
